Pitti Immagine kicked off the Trade Fair season last week with the newest edition of Pitti Uomo, a show renowned for its top class selection of brands and innovative concepts. For the Spring Summer 14 season, they celebrated an early 1900’s vintage sports aesthetic, alongside contemporary technological discoveries in homage to the biking culture of the modern man. Here, MPDClick provides you with a sneak preview of our highlights from this season’s exhibits.
With a long-standing reputation for luxury male attire, Pitti Uomo showcased an emerging trend in elegant silk shirts; we love Immuro’s textured rock surface print which is infused with an opulent blue hue. On the alternative end of the spectrum, Keyhole uses a quirky Marylin Monroe Pop Art all-over print to add a playful edge to sleeveless hoodies.
In the footwear sector, Stow and Son caught our eye with their mix of organic leather and soft crochet brogues offering a seasonal update to this formal footwear style. Stow & Son will also be exhibiting at the July 2013 edition of Bread & Butter.
